Important Information
- Upcoming trip on the 30th April. Please ensure you have returned your child’s permission slip if you with for them to attend.

Maths
In Maths so far this half term we have been exploring lengths and perimeter and place value. Within place value we have explored roman numerals and consolidated our understanding of rounding numbers to the nearest 10, 100 and 1000. We used the hundreds beads to help.

Curriculum
This half term in Art we have been learning about the impressionist artist Claude Monet. We have explored how Monet created light and shadow in his paintings, and even had a go at recreating one of his most iconic paintings.

In Science this half term, we are learning about solids, liquids and gases.
We will learn about states of matter and conduct experiments into how they change.
We melted ice cubes with our hands to investigate how solids turn into liquids. |
