Privacy and data protection (GDPR)
What is GDPR?
The General Data Protection Regulations are a replacement for the 1995 Data Protection Directive, which has until now set the minimum standards for processing data in the European Union. GDPR significantly strengthens a number of rights for individuals and sets out clear guidelines for data processors.
Meadow View Academy is a data processor and below you will find documents detailing information processing practices. Should you require any further information regarding information processing practices, please request an appointment with a member of the Senior Leadership team.
Data Protection Officer
We have appointed a Data Protection officer from Walsall Council to support our academy with matters relating to Data Protection and the use of your personal information. Our Data Protection Officer is registered with the Information Commissioners Officer (ICO).
