Special Educational Needs

At Meadow View Academy we are proud of being an inclusive school which focuses on the well-being and progress of every child. We have high expectations of all our children, including those with Special Educational Needs or a Disability (SEND).

To ensure our children achieve their full potential, and are equipped with the life-skills needed in the next step of their journey, we engage a range of strategies to issue challenge at an appropriate level, and provide support to overcome barriers to learning. We understand the importance of making reasonable adjustments and personalisation of provision and building a picture based on the whole child. Putting the child at the heart of everything we do we encourage all learners to Dream big, Believe in themselves and Achieve their goals.

We are constantly striving to build a strong culture of school, family, community and services working together.

At Meadow View Academy we encourage our children to Dream big, Believe in themselves and Achieve their goals. Through providing a diverse enriched curriculum, children strive to be the best they can be, creating a community that nurtures kindness and compassion. Building their knowledge and experiences of the world, children leave Meadow View prepared for the challenges of the future. We celebrate our differences for we are all unique, however, together we are a masterpiece.
