Speak Up: Stay Safe - Safeguarding Week 2025
As part of our work around staying safe, we had a discussion about ‘Trusted Adults’. We talked about who trusted adults might be in our families and in school and illustrated out own ‘Trust Network’. We talked about what we might do if we became lost and how to recognise ‘Safer Strangers’ that we could ask for help.

Curriculum
We have been thoroughly enjoying learning about the Great Fire of London, in 1666, during our History lessons.
In Design and Technology we made some moving pictures of London landmarks. We investigated different mechanisms and chose whether to use a slider, lever, pivot or flap in our picture.

Science
On Science Day we did team races to sort objects by the material they were made from. With a partner, we shone our torch on objects around the classroom to find out whether they were transparent, translucent or opaque.
